I read this book! As I recall, these two kids run away from home and wind up living in the mall, where they discover that the manequins come alive at night.

It was great because it was like "let's escape to the mall, our safehaven." Really, it was a severely creepy book. I recall Jell-O and bricks thrown at white leather motorcycle jackets.

Loved that book! I think one of the first things that was said about the mall was that it was climate controlled.... gotta love malls for that fact alone.

I agree, SugarD. :)

Yeah, I love the cover of this book. It's kind of eerie. Sounds spooky, too! Almost DAWN OF THE DEADish in a way (my favortie movie of all-time).

I would love to get trapped in a mall all night with freakin' mannequins that come to life!

Now that I think of it, why the heck hasn't that happened to me yet?! Life isn't fair, man.

OH
MY
GOD
I haven't seen this book cover in a very long time ... I totally remember reading this during my "Choose Your Own Adventure" book days. Great job!
